2014. Apr 9-May 1. Major exhibition of Havana Reality photographs at Heliconian Hall, 35 Hazelton Av, Toronto. Opening reception Sat Apr 12, 1-5 pm. Mary's new photobook, Havana Reality, has been printed! Preview the images in the section SLIDE SHOWS. This book will interest you if you are concerned about the current situation for Cubans living in Havana. November 2012. Toronto Heliconian Club: Centennial Portraits is out! This book features over 100 portraits and biographies of women in the arts; the photos were taken over the last two years by Mary. The book launch reception was held November 16 in Heliconian Hall. The celebration included musical, dance and reading performances - it was a wonderful event!

Mary has now opened a Pet Portrait Studio, a specifically designed studio to take award-winning images of pets, mainly dogs but also cats and any other pet that is special to its owner. Contact Mary (perduemary@live.com) to set up an appointment.

In 2011, Mary was awarded a SNAP Prize for Best Landscape for her image "Mountain Shadow". See the image in the Black and White Gallery. In 2010, Mary won a SNAP award for Best Photo-based/Abstract/Other for her image "Here's Looking at You". See the image in the Clear Visions Gallery. Over the years, many of Mary's images have been selected for the SNAP! Silent Auction. She has also had work selected for Photosensitive Exhibitions.

In previous years, Mary has exhibited and won numerous awards at the Toronto Camera Club, Launch Gallery, International Salon, Heliconian Hall Gallery, etc.

Her work is being collected. Pieces hang in the Banting and Best Institute, University of Toronto, McMaster University, Canadian Embassy in Tokyo, and in offices of various doctors and businesses, as well in private homes.
